Description
This is a group of seven chest tombs located approximately 4 meters southwest of the south porch of the Church of St Michael and All Angels in Claverdon. They date from the 18th century and are made of sandstone ashlar. Each chest tomb measures about 0.5 meters high, 1.5 meters long, and 1 meter wide. They feature chamfered plinths and plain sides topped with chamfered slabs. Unfortunately, all inscriptions on the tombs have eroded over time. These tombs are part of a group with the Church of St Michael and All Angels.
