Description

This is a group of three chest tombs from the 18th century, located immediately east of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Penkridge. The tombs are made of ashlar stone and are all rectangular, aligned in an east-west direction. Each tomb features moulded bases and oversailing caps with moulded edges. The tombs to the north and south have panelled sides, while the central tomb has panels that are edged with egg and dart ornament.
