Description

Three unidentified monuments are located immediately east of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels. These are three chest tombs from the mid to late 18th century, made of limestone. They feature flat tops, deeply moulded plinths, and cappings on their bases. The two tombs closer to the chancel have scrolled ends and moulded side panels that are flanked by relief strips. The chest tomb that is further away has applied lyre ends on the returns of its panelled ends, along with long moulded side panels.
