Description

EASTINGTON CHURCHEND SO 7805 13/50 Unidentified Monument, about 5m south of south door immediately east of path in churchyard of Church of St. Michael and All Angels GV II Chest tomb. Unidentified. Late C18/early C19. Limestone. Flat top, moulded plinth and capping. Sides have large nearly circular raised panels with draped palm leaf relief over. Ends have recessed rectangular panels with fluted frieze, plain to east, with large urn and drapery to west. Badly eroded at time of survey (November 1985).
