Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 5 meters south of the south door, immediately east of the path in the churchyard of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded plinth and capping. The sides are adorned with large, nearly circular raised panels that have a relief of draped palm leaves. The ends of the tomb have recessed rectangular panels with a fluted frieze; the eastern side is plain, while the western side displays a large urn and drapery. At the time of the survey in November 1985, the tomb was noted to be badly eroded.
