ST 85 NE HILPERTON THE KNAP (east side)

7/28 Three monuments in the churchyard between 4 and 6m north of nave of Church of St Michael and All Angels

GV II

Three chest tombs. Late C18. Limestone. South west tomb has plinth, two shield-shaped fielded panels, fielded pilasters with rosettes, inscription to Tucker family. North west tomb has two fielded panels, quarter balusters to corners and scrolled centre panel with balusters, inscription to Elizabeth Long died 1777. East tomb is lower with two oval panels set into fielded panelled main side, no legible inscription. All tombs with moulded cornices to flat tops.
