Description
EASTINGTON CHURCHEND SO 7805 13/52 Five Unidentified Monuments, about 2-8m in line south of south-east aisle window in churchyard of Church of St. Michael and All Angels GV II Five chest tombs. Unidentified, probably early or mid C18. Limestone. Flat tops, all moulded plinth and capping, some on bases. Two with lyre ends with high relief carving to ends and sides; furthest south with gadrooned quarter balusters, cartouche ends and plain moulded side panels; two with plainer carved panels. All very overgrown at time of survey (November 1985) and mostly in poor state of repair.
