Description
Home View Cottage and Home Farm Cottage are two cottages, likely built in the 17th century, featuring two stages of construction. They are made of squared coursed limestone and have 20th-century tile and iron sheet roofs, along with rebuilt stone ridge stacks. The cottages have a three-unit and a two-unit layout, with one storey and an attic. The front has a four-window range consisting of 19th and 20th-century two- and three-light casements, all with wooden lintels on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century door on the left and a 19th-century plank door on the right, both also under wooden lintels.
Inside Home Farm Cottage, there is a chamfered spine beam with ogee stops and a large open fireplace featuring a chamfered timber bressumer.
These cottages are included for their group value.
