BARTON ON THE HEATH Home View Cottage and Home Farm Cottage

GV II Two cottages. Probably C17, of two stages of building. Squared coursed limestone with C20 tile and iron sheet roofs and rebuilt stone ridge stacks. Three-unit and two-unit plans. One storey and attic; four-window range of C19 and C20 two- and three-light casements with wood lintels to ground floor. C20 door to left and C19 plank door to right, both under wood lintels.

Interior: Home Farm Cottage to left noted as having chamfered spine beam with ogee stops and large open fireplace with chamfered timber bressumer.
