Description
58 and 59 Butlers Road are two cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of squared coursed limestone and feature a 20th-century tiled roof with stone and brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages have a two-unit plan and are two stories high, presenting a four-window range that includes 19th-century two- and three-light casements, along with one 20th-century casement, all fitted with wooden lintels. The front doors, which are 19th-century planks, are located to the centre-left and centre-right and are covered by iron hoods. Inside, the cottages are noted for having chamfered spine beams.
