Description

The well house and memorial, located in Barton on the Heath, dates from 1874 but may have been re-erected from the 18th century. It is constructed of limestone and features a polygonal plinth with three columns that support a dome, which has a moulded surround and a ball finial on top. Beneath the dome, there is an urn adorned with carved drapery and foliage, resting on an inscribed plinth. Additionally, there is a lead trough and a lion-head spring at the front.
