Description
Wick Farmhouse's well house, located approximately 30 meters to the north, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and has a square plan in the Baroque style. The front features a central doorway with a moulded architrave and a lion-mask keyblock, flanked by small oval openings that have moulded surrounds and iron stanchions. A cornice projects over the doorway, leading to a scrolled swan-neck pediment supported by elaborate consoles. The roof is a square domical vault topped with a large ball finial. Inside, there are stone benches around the walls, although the well itself has been filled in.
