Description
Bayswater Mill is a watermill, probably from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble and has an old plain-tile roof. The building is a single range and stands two storeys high. The front features two original entrances with stable-type doors; the entrance on the right is vertically combined with a door to the first floor. There are five windows with 19th and 20th-century leaded casements arranged in a cross pattern. All openings are topped with heavy stone flat arches. There are also inserted doorways at the extreme right and left. At the rear, there is a large freestanding stack with numerous offsets, and the upper stages are made of brick with stone dressings. The interior has not been inspected.
