Description
Salter's Well Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from squared coursed limestone, featuring quoins and coped gables. The building has a stone-slate roof with moulded stone end and lateral stacks, and it is designed in an L-shaped plan. It stands two storeys tall, plus attics, and has a three-window range of 20th-century two- and three-light casements with stone flat arches. There are three gabled dormers on the roof. At the rear, there is a 20th-century door and additional two- and three-light casements, as well as a two-light stone mullioned cellar window. The interior is noted to have beams.
