Description

Manor Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse located in Ladbroke. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone with quoins, and has coped gables and a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building is L-shaped. It has two storeys plus an attic, and originally a three-window front. The windows are 20th century three-light casements set in original openings, with stone flat arches to the ground floor. A 20th century door is also protected by a stone flat arch. There are two gabled dormers. A 20th century one-storey lean-to extends from the left side. The interior features stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, a large open fireplace that was refaced in the 19th century, and an 18th century central staircase with turned balusters.
