Description

The Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed lias and features a thatched roof with brick end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is one storey plus an attic. The front has a three-window range that includes one- and two-light casements with wooden lintels. There are plank doors to the left and center, along with 20th-century garage doors to the far left. Inside, there is a large chamfered spine beam and joists, all with stepped stops, and a large open fireplace with a chamfered timber bressumer.
