Description
Gosport Cottage and Langford Cottage is a house that has been converted into two dwellings, dating from the early 17th century. The building features a rendered ground floor and a timber-framed first floor, which includes braces and some decorative semi-circular framing. The roofs are covered with plain tiles and 20th-century tiles, and there are brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The structure has a 4-unit plan and is two stories high, with a four-window range that includes two- and three-light casements as well as 16-pane sash windows. There is a 20th-century door located in the center, along with a 19th-century one-storey brick extension to the right and a 20th-century extension at the rear. Inside, the property features chamfered spine beams with stepped stops and a large open fireplace, also with stepped stops.
