Description
Attwood Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with braces and colourwashed brick infill. It has a thatched roof with a brick ridge stack. The cottage has a three-unit plan and is two storeys plus an attic, with a one-storey section plus an attic. The front has a four-window range of 20th-century two- and three-light casements, and there is a 19th-century plank door located in the centre. At the rear and right, there is a 20th-century lean-to brick extension. Inside, the cottage has chamfered spine beams on the ground and first floors, an open fireplace, and timber-framed partition walls.
