Description

Depper's Bridge Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century farmhouse, with alterations and additions dating to the 19th century. It is timber framed, with some lias and 18th and 19th century brickwork. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with brick end and internal stacks. Originally built in an L-shape, the farmhouse has later 18th and 19th century extensions. The right side features a two-story, three-window range of 19th century cross casements and sashes. A plank stable door is on the left facade. The 17th century section of the interior has chamfered spine beams with ogee stops, and timber and plaster partition framing on both the ground and first floors. The 18th century section retains chamfered spine beams and joists with run-out stops. The farmhouse is said to have original roof timbers.
