Description

NORTH AND SOUTH ANSTON WORKSOP ROAD Lindrick SK58SE (south side, off) 6/76 Deep Carrs Farmhouse 30/7/86 II

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed, squared limestone, pantile roof. L-shaped plan having wing to rear right and outshut from the wing infilling the angle. 2 storeys with attics, 2 windows to 1st floor. Large quoins. Part-glazed doorway to right of centre in plain ashlar surround. Flanking C20 casements in the positions of 2-light square-faced mullioned windows, the mullions removed and the jambs rebuilt; 1st-floor windows the same. Shaped kneelers and chamfered gable copings. Rebuilt brick end stacks. Gable of rear wing as side gables.
