Description

Brancliffe Grange Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has been altered over time. It features a cement-rendered exterior and a pantile roof. The building stands three storeys high and has three bays, with a wing at the rear. The central doorway is blocked, and there are windows beneath a peaked cornice supported by shaped brackets. On either side, there are single-storey bay windows with flat roofs. The first floor has three two-light mullioned windows, each with square-faced surrounds, containing one casement and one two-pane sash. The second floor has short windows with similar surrounds, which have casements with glazing bars. The farmhouse also displays shaped kneelers and gable copings, along with rendered end stacks. Inside, the attic features reused 17th-century panelling.
