Description
Formby House Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations. It features a roughcast exterior and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with three bays. The windows are fitted with 20th-century casements, and there is a gabled half-dormer on the first floor above the second and third bays. The entrance, located between the second and third bays, includes a 20th-century porch. The building has corner buttresses and three gable-end and cross-axial stacks. At the rear, there are some horizontally sliding sash windows. Inside, the farmhouse boasts chamfered beams and wide-boarded doors with strap hinges on lugs.
