Description
The Old Parsonage is a house built in 1772, with later alterations. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has slate roofs. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, along with a one-storey, one-bay extension on the left and a two-storey gabled cross-wing on the right. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, with the left extension featuring a very large window. The cross-wing has gauged brick flat arches above the windows and casements with margin lights. The central entrance consists of paired glazed doors and a later lean-to open porch. There are end stacks and one cross-axial stack. The left return has an entrance with angle pilasters and a cornice, while the rear includes a round-headed stair window.
