Description
No. 62 Gore's Lane is a building that dates back to the 16th or 17th century and was originally two houses but is now one. It features a cruck-framed structure with roughcast exterior. The first bay has a slate roof, while the remaining bays are thatched. The building is one storey high and consists of three bays, with the first bay being recessed and lower than the others. The windows are fitted with two-light horizontally sliding sashes that have glazing bars. There is a timber gutter and chimney stacks located at the gable end of the second bay. At the rear, there is a three-bay wing that has a slate roof, likely added in the 20th century. Inside, the building contains three cruck trusses and wide-boarded doors.
