Description
Pear Tree Farmhouse is a late 18th century farmhouse constructed from coursed, squared limestone with a pantile roof. The building features three storeys and three bays, along with a two-storey wing at the rear center. It has an ashlar plinth and chamfered quoins. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within an architrave, flanked by 16-pane sash windows also in architraves with projecting sills. The first floor has similar windows, with the central sash containing twelve panes. On the second floor, there is a central six-pane sash window, with matching casements in the outer bays. The farmhouse has brick stacks at both ends. The rear wing is distinguished by stone slate eaves courses, shaped kneelers, gable copings, and an end stack at the rear gable.
