Description
King Stone Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse built from squared coursed limestone, featuring quoins and coped gables. It has a 20th-century tiled roof with a moulded stone ridge and end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys plus an attic. The front has a three-window range with 20th-century three-light and cross casements, all with stone flat arches and keyblocks. There is a 20th-century glazed door with a hood at the center, and two gabled dormers above. To the left, there is a small stone lean-to, and to the rear right, there is a further 20th-century stone extension along with additional 20th-century casements in an early 19th-century two-storey stone range. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
