Description
Mole End is a house, possibly originally two cottages, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a thatched roof with stone and brick ridge and end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of one storey plus an attic. The front has a four-window range with 19th and 20th century two- and three-light casements that have old wood lintels. There is a 20th century plank door with an old wood lintel at the center, and to the left facade, there is a 19th century plank door with a wood lintel, along with additional 19th and 20th century casements with wood lintels on the left and rear sides. To the right, there is a one-storey stone range that is now used as a garage. Inside, the property features chamfered spine beams and a large open fireplace.
