Description

Ferndale is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a thatched roof with stone and brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a four-unit plan and is one storey plus an attic. The façade includes a four-window range with 19th-century two- and three-light casements, along with a suite of original leaded lights. Wood lintels are present above the ground floor casements. There is a 20th-century door located in a 20th-century gabled porch on the left gable end. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
