Description
Campden Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse that was raised at the front in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with quoins and features a 20th-century tile roof with a moulded stone ridge and end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys plus an attic, with a four-window range. On the ground floor, there is a five-light mullioned window to the left and two 2-light mullioned windows to the right of the central part-glazed four-panelled door, which has a stone flat arch above it. The ground floor windows have hood moulds and labels. The first floor includes one four-light and two 2-light mullioned windows. The right gable end and the rear range have 19th-century casements. To the left, there is a 19th-century one-storey gabled outbuilding that now partly serves as a kitchen. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered spine beams and a large open fireplace with a chamfered stone surround and a chamfered timber bressumer.
