Description

The well-head, likely dating from the late 18th century, is constructed from vertically tooled coursed squared stone and ashlar. It measures approximately 2 metres square and is topped with an ashlar dome featuring a ball and cushion finial. The lower section includes a plinth, cornice, and blocking course, with an entrance on the north side that has a broken-down 20th-century hoard door beneath a long lintel. There is also an outlet on the east side. Inside, a stone ledge encircles a square pool.
