Description
These are four cottages, built in the 17th century and later altered. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a slate roof with coped gables, as well as moulded stone ridge and end stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have a T-plan layout. The front façade, which has been partly rebuilt, includes a three-window range with two 20th-century doors and two- and three-light casement windows that have wooden lintels. To the right, there is a lower one-bay addition that is partly made of brick. The rear of the cottages is more interesting, featuring a projecting wing with two three-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned windows beneath a cornice on the ground floor, and a four-light and a two-light mullioned window on the first floor. The interiors have not been inspected.
