Description
The wall located to the west of the stableyard entrance and to the north of Newbold Pacey Hall, along with two gate piers, dates from the late 17th century or 18th century, with some later rebuilding and 19th-century gate piers. It is constructed of brick laid in an irregular bond, featuring a plain plinth and altered coping. The wall extends approximately 20 meters west from the stableyard gate and then returns south for about 120 meters along the side of the B 4087 road. The section to the west of the gate includes a stop-chamfered brick gate pier, with a similar gate pier at the west end. There is a segmental-headed entrance near the west end, and the stretch along the road shows several patches of 19th-century rebuilding.
