SP25NE B 4087, Newbold Pacey 1901-1/2/171 (East side) Wall W from stableyard entrance and to road, N of Newbold Pacey Hall, & 2 piers

GV II

Wall to stableyard with 2 gate piers. Late C17 or C18 with later rebuilding and C19 gate piers. Brick laid to irregular bond. Plain plinth and altered coping. Wall extends approx 20m west of stableyard gate and returned south approx 120m along side of B 4087. Stretch to west of gate has stop-chamfered brick gate pier; similar gate pier to west end. Segmental-headed entrance near west end. Stretch along road has several patches of C19 rebuilding.
