Description

The stable yard walls and gate piers at East Kennett Manor date from the 18th century. The roadside wall, located to the west of the manor, is constructed of squared sarsen stone and features three courses of tile copings and a ridge over two brick offsetting courses. The wall stands approximately 2 meters high and extends about 12 meters in length, ending in three rebuilt rusticated limestone gate piers topped with large ball finials, although the cornices and bases have been removed. The wall continues to the south as the south garden walls.
