Description
The walls to the south garden of East Kennett Manor, dating from the 18th century, are constructed of squared sarsen stone and feature a three-course tile coping and ridge. These walls are part of a continuous build with the Stable Yard wall. They stand approximately 2.5 meters high and extend 107 meters in length, returning on the south side for 56 meters and then on the east side for an additional 78 meters. The walls terminate in a low section with cast iron railings and stanchions topped with urn terminals, situated opposite the front elevation of the house. At the north end, there are ashlar gate piers adorned with cornices and ball finials.
