EAST KENNETT VILLAGE CENTRE Walls to south garden, East Kennett Manor, with eastern gates

GV II

Garden wall against road. C18. Squared sarsen with 3-course tile coping and ridge, being of continuous build with Stable Yard wall (q.v.). Approximately 2.5m high, 107m long, returning on south side by 56m, and returning again on east side by further approximately 78m, terminating in low wall with cast iron railings and stanchions with urn terminals, opposite front elevation of house. Ashlar gate piers with cornice and ball finials at north end.
