Description

The dovecote at East Kennett Manor is an 18th to early 19th-century structure located east of the farm buildings. It features decorative diaper brickwork and a slate roof, with an octagonal shape that is set into the north garden wall. The dovecote has an arched door leading to the garden. The roof is adorned with lead rolls at the angles and includes an open timber glover topped with a lead cupola and windvane. It was likely constructed as a garden ornament.
