Description
This is a barn located approximately 100 meters south of Talton House, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish garden wall bond, featuring a coped gable on stone kneelers and an old tile roof. The barn likely consists of five bays. On the right side, there are rebuilt openings with 20th-century garage doors, while the left side has a small lean-to with a plank door and a small two-light casement window. Attached to the rear left is a sheltershed, probably three bays in length, also built of brick in Flemish garden wall bond with a tile roof. Inside, the barn has a queen strut roof with chamfered tie beams and ogee stops, and the collars, purlins, and principal rafters are original.
