Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with extensive restorations and additions made in the 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction with rendered infill and a renewed tile roof, which includes a large stone chimney stack and a brick end stack. The building is arranged in an L-plan and has two storeys with a two-window range.
The entrance has a 20th-century door, and the windows are fitted with 20th-century casements. The gable on the right side displays some close studding and braces on the first floor, along with a large external stack that has offsets. The left side of the house is roughcast and features large 20th-century windows on both floors.
The right side includes a large single-storey flat-roofed addition from the 20th century that encloses an older single-storey gabled wing. At the rear, there is a 20th-century catslide addition with large windows to the right of the gabled wing, which also has an exposed tie beam and struts, along with the continuation of the flat-roofed addition and 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
