House. Mid to late C18. Brick Flemish bond with buff headers; tile roof with brick coping and brick cross-axial stack and end stack. 3-unit plan. Platt band over ground floor and top modillioned brick cornice. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 3-window range. Entrance to left of centre has heavy frame with overlight to 6-fielded-panel door; C19 bracketed canopy. Windows have segmental heads; ground floor has large central window with 2-light transomed small-paned frame with iron casement, window to left has 3-light transomed leaded casement and window to right has 8/8 sash in moulded frame; 1st floor has central window with paired 6/6 horned sashes and flanking windows with 6/6 sashes, one horned; attic has 3 gabled dormers with 2-light leaded casements. Clock face to 1st floor right of centre has lettering: JNO WALKER LTD/ 63 NEW BOND ST. Rear has tall gabled wing with single-storey gabled wing to right and C20 glazed addition. Left return has 2 windows with 2-light leaded casements. INTERIOR: winding stair rises between walls; some plain beams; rear room has large fireplace with flat pine surround and cornice returned at each end; some 6-fielded-panel doors. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: plain iron railings and gate.
