BUTLERS MARSTON SP35SW 2/13 Lobbington Hall Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 extensions. Squared, coursed limestone with ironstone quoins and windows. Tile roof with brick end stacks. 2 storeys. 2-window range. One-unit plan with through-passage. C19 plank door with chamfered stone surround, the lintel with chamfer and stops. Hood mould and label stops. C20 stone lean-to porch with corrugated roof. To right a 3-light mullioned window and one above. Both windows have hood moulds and label stops. To right gable end a blocked mullioned window. Above a 2-light mullioned window, part blocked. Both windows have hood moulds with label stops. C19 two-storey range to rear. C20 two-storey brick kitchen and bathroom unit to left gable. Interior: one chamfered spine beam. Stone flagged floors in C17 range now covered with concrete. Said to have original roof timbers. Included for group value.
