Description
Green Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on Village Street in Combrook. The building is constructed from coursed squared limestone that is finely jointed and resembles ashlar. It features a steeply pitched old tile roof with coped gables and stone end stacks, and has a three-unit plan.
The exterior consists of two storeys plus an attic and includes a three-window range. Notable architectural details include a moulded plinth, a plat band above the ground floor, and a top cornice, along with quoins at the corners. The entrance is positioned to the left of centre and features a 20th-century porch with a six-panel door in a wooden frame. The ground floor has three windows with keyed lintels above renewed leaded cross-casements, while the first floor has windows with renewed two-light leaded casements and three gabled roof dormers. There is also a single-storey extension to the rear on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
