Description

The churchyard wall and gate for the Church of St Mary and St Margaret date from the 19th century and likely incorporate some medieval elements. The structure is built from coursed dressed stone with ashlar dressings. It features a low wall with gabled coping that once supported railings. The piers and gate piers are designed with offset buttresses, which have worn, possibly medieval, cusped gablets adorned with fleurons. The gates are plain and paired.
