Description
Hill Cottage is a house that was originally two separate houses, dating from the 18th century with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled slate roof with brick stacks at the ends and along the ridge. The building has a baffle-entry plan and is a single storey with an attic.
The exterior has a four-window range. The entrance is located to the left of the center and features a stone lintel above a plank door set in a wooden frame. To the left of the entrance, there is a window with a stone lintel above a two-light leaded casement. To the right of the porch, there are two two-light leaded casements and one single-light leaded casement, all with similar stone lintel details. On the first floor, there are two three-light leaded casements and two two-light leaded casements, all situated under timber lintels.
The interior has not been inspected.
