Description
The Wheelwrights is a building that was originally two houses, now functioning as a single house. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is built of coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins. It has a pantile roof with a single gable and two brick stacks along the ridge.
The front of the building is two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, with a 20th-century rectangular bay window to the left and two 19th-century three-light casements to the right. The left casement is set within a 17th-century stone surround. There is another half-glazed door to the right. On the first floor, there are three three-light casements, each with timber lintels.
