Description
Peregrine Cottage is a house located in Combrook, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatched roof with a brick cross-axial stack. The cottage has a single-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, with a single-window range. The entrance includes a timber lintel above a 20th-century door set within a gabled porch that has a thatched hood. To the right of the entrance, there is a window with a timber lintel above a two-light leaded casement, which includes an iron opening casement. The first floor has a similar casement. At the rear, there is a lean-to outshut with a tiled roof and two 20th-century gabled dormers. Peregrine Cottage is part of a row of four houses that includes Nos. 27, 29, and 30. The interior has not been inspected.
