Description
Roger's Orchard is a house built in the early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed from limestone rubble with stone dressings and features a two-span slate roof with raised coped verges, kneelers, and diagonal gable stacks. The house has two storeys and three windows. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casements with ovolo mullions, hood moulds, and relieving arches. The central gabled porch has a pointed arched opening and a pointed arched door with Y-tracery fillets. The first floor has three gables, each with a similar two-light casement and finial. The right side of the house has a 20th-century three-light casement and door, both with relieving arches, and a two-light casement with an ovolo mullion and hood mould on the first floor. The rear features a catslide roof on the left and an additional block on the rear right, forming a two-span roof. The interior has not been inspected.
