SP15SW ARDENS GRAFTON 1931-1/3/92 Cider Mill immediately west of Cider 05/04/67 Mill Farmhouse (Formerly Listed as: ARDENS GRAFTON Cider Mill)

Cider mill and stable. Probably C18. Timber-frame with weatherboard cladding on coursed blue lias rubble plinth and similar rubble to left end; hipped old tile roof. EXTERIOR: 4-bay range. Stable to left has entrance with timber lintel and plank door, pitching hole above has similar wide-boarded door, as has small opening to left. 3 openings with plank doors to mill. Rear similar. INTERIOR: collar and queen strut trusses with trenched purlins and crude wind braces. Cider mill survives intact; double cider press has wooden screws and one surviving stone trough.
