Post office, now house. Mid to late C18 with some C20 restoration. Coursed blue lias rubble with brick facade, on stone plinth, and brick verges; steeply pitched renewed tile roof with brick end stacks and slate roof to side wing. Georgian style. Central staircase plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Plat band over ground floor and top moulded brick cornice. Entrance has rubbed brick flat arch over eared architrave and flat canopy, 6-panel door with 2 glazed panels. Windows have rubbed brick flat arches over renewed wood mullioned and transomed windows, of 3 lights to ground floor, 2 lights to first floor. Right return has 2 small leaded lights above small single-storey wing with stone plinth, rebuilt brick walls and slate roof. Rear has single-storey stone wing projecting to left return and with raking buttress, and shallow 2-storey wing. INTERIOR, not inspected, noted as having large fireplace with bressumer to left end.
