Description

A cider mill, likely dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. The mill is constructed of coursed rubble with dressed quoins, and has a machine tile roof. It comprises two bays aligned north-east to south-west. The east wall is two stories high, with a blind upper floor. The ground floor has two windows with chamfered wooden architraves, one retaining an original diamond mullion. The north gable end features an entrance with a ledged and boarded door within a chamfered architrave. The south gable reveals a timber-framed wall with brick infill, displaying a truss with two collars and multiple struts and V-struts in the apex, following the removal of an adjacent building.
