Description
The stable block, located approximately 60 metres north-west of Newbold Pacey Hall, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features gabled tile roofs.
The exterior is a single-storey building with an attic, designed in a symmetrical layout that includes a central gabled forward break. A top dentilled brick cornice runs along the top. The central entrance is segmental-headed and features a panelled door set in a pegged frame, with a similar pitching hole above it. Flanking the entrance are round windows on either side of the forward break, set within flush square ashlar settings that have roll-moulded surrounds and leaded glazing in iron frames. A similar round window is located in the gable.
On the right return, there is a segmental-headed entrance with a plank door, a pitching hole, and a round window. The left return facing the road also has a round window. At the rear, there is a window with a brick sill that accommodates a 6-pane sash. The interior has not been inspected.
