Description
This stable block, dating from the early 18th century, is located approximately 8 meters north of the Old Rectory on Ladbroke Church Road. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone, featuring a plinth and quoins on the front gable end, with a brick-coped gable resting on stone kneelers. The roof is covered with plain tiles and the structure likely consists of three bays.
On the ground floor front, there are two leaded casement windows, and above them are two hayloft plank doors. A blocked central doorway has a quoined surround and a lintel with a keyblock. To the left end of the building, there are two additional plank doors and a garage door. The rear gable end has been extended using lias and brick. Inside, the stable block is noted to have a cobbled floor.
