Description

This stable block, dating from the mid-18th century, is located to the west of No. 26, known as Gees Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed and banded limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of Collyweston slate and has a single raised coped gable. The building is a single storey with a loft and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a planked door, with a louvred light to the left and a fixed light to the right, all set beneath timber lintels. The left gable includes a louvred opening with a small fixed light. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
