Description
Willoughby House is an early 18th-century house that was refronted in the early 19th century. It features a coursed limestone rubble plinth with a red brick front in Flemish bond, topped by a Collyweston slate roof with two red brick gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front that includes a plinth and a dentillated eaves course. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with semi-circular headed boot scraper insets, flanked by two plain casement windows with three lights each. On the first floor, there are two similar windows, all of which are set under cambered brick heads. To the right, there is a two-storey single bay service block made of coursed rubble, which includes a two-light plain casement window and a louvred opening at the eaves, along with an external stair leading to the first floor on the right.
